Kananaskis Hiking

Two weeks ago, my brother, my friend, who had came from Toronto to stay with us during the Iranian New Year’s holiday, and I decided to go Kananaskis for hiking. We woke up at ten o'clock and packed all the things which might be needed such as some snacks, a bottle of water and warm clothes. Then we left home at 10:30. It is about two hours driving to reach Kananaskis hiking path. The weather was little cold. So, all the ponds and lakes, which are in the side of the Calgary - Kananaskis road, were frozen. We stopped several times on the way to take some pictures with amazing background views. Finally, we found Kananaskis hard because my brother and I were there only once. But we did it! We got off the car, then worn our warm clothes. At the end of the Kananaskis hiking path, there is a beautiful waterfall and we had planned to go there. We started hiking during. During the way we saw two families, and talked to them. I think they were Canadian. The hiking path was frozen by snow. The shadow of height trees made it impossible to receive sunshine there. Consequently, the weather was felt colder due to that reason. After a long hiking, we reached the waterfall. I did not expect to see frozen waterfall. It was such an amazing view. We all were tired. So, decided to sit and have some snack. My friend attempted to break the frozen waterfall by throwing stone to it. But, it was conceivable to do that because the frozen water was really hard. I enjoyed the nature while i was listening to my favourite music. We spent an hour there, and then we started to go to the car and go back home. At the middle of the way, we parked next to a Burger King to eat something. We arrived home at 7, we all were out of energy to do something else.

I hope you will have an opportunity to go there.
